The Hottest Cd's

On March 29th, Prince's new Cd titled "Lotusflow3r" was just released with mixed reviews. His performance on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno was said to be lackluster at best. Prince is not the only one coming out with new albums. Many artists are coming out with new singles and albums that you are sure to hear on the radio.

Kelly Clarkson's new CD hit the stores recently. "All I ever Wanted" was released at number one on the Billboard charts and has had one of the highest opening weeks in 2009 already. Clarkson was the first winner on the Fox show, "American Idol" and Entertainment Weekly has named her "Entertainer of the Month." The Black Eyed Peas recently released their new album titled, "Boom, Boom, Pow!" which has become a major success on iTunes. Their single currently is at number one on their download list. On this new song they try new things such as using computer technology to change the vocals.

Lady GaGa's album "Poker Face" is also a hot CD right now. It has spent 15 weeks on the Billboard charts and peaked at number one. Rock music's All American Rejects have also released a successful album, "Gives You Hell" which has been garnering great sales and spent a number of weeks on the charts as well. Music today is flooded with many different artists and sounds and keeping up with what's hot can be a full time commitment.
