Plasma televisions are known for displaying high-definition broadcasts in high-end formats. New plasma television technology utilize two flat panels of phosphor coated glass. Using advanced computer technology to combine and intensify pixels of red, green, or blue color in these panels enables plasma TVs to produce the entire spectrum of colors. Standard plasma TVs come in either 800x600 or 1280x1024 pixel resolutions.
The newest plasma TVs have a light weight screen with a sleeker look than before. Since they are not bulky and are coupled with great pixel resolutions, plasma televisions have become very popular in the last few years. Everyone wants to bring the theatre experience into their homes to watch their favorite shows on TV or DVD. Plasma TV has fulfilled that requirement by offering bigger display screens for a better view, and better yet, they come at a more affordable price than a Liquid Crystal Display television.
The best and most recent plasma TVs to hit the market now the Panasonic TH-103PF10UK Plasma, the Pioneer PRO-151FD Plasma, the Hitachi P50X902 Plasma, and the Samsung PN42A450 Plasma.
