The new iPhone can also be used as an iPod, but is typically considered a phone first.

iPods also come in a variety of sizes and colors. The iPod Shuffle is about the same size as a package of chewing gum, while the iPod classic is very thin, but is about the size of a pack of cigarettes. Just a few of the many colors are blue, black, silver, pink, and green. They can also be personalized, if ordered from Apple's website, with your name or personal saying engraved on the back of the iPod.

iPods can be used to hold more than just music also. They can be used as personal planners, photo albums, and video and game players. Media is transferred to these devices using the iTunes software downloaded from Apple's website. Songs, videos, and even audio books can be purchased for download on this site.
