Vizio Plasma TVs

The Vizio plasma television is made in California. The company distributes the plasma televisions primarily through large bulk stores such as Target, Costco, and other similar retailers. The Vizio Plasma televisions were made available to the general public in 2005. Vizio is a fairly new electronics supplier. The Vizio Plasma televisions cost a lot less than most plasma televisions. The company's objective was to gain their edge and profits through volumes sold.

Vizio is credited with making the smallest plasma screen televisions, the 19 inch, and they also sell the 60 inch plasma screen televisions. The company's method of selling the plasma televisions leaves questions of service contracts. What happens when there is a problem with the televisions? The stores from which they are sold are not service stores. The company has a twofold answer for service problems. The customer may take the television to a designated repairman or the customer may permit a repairman to come into their homes to service the plasma televisions. There is one problem with these arrangements. If a customer lives outside the service area of the repairman, the customer must take the television to the serviceman. This would pose a great inconvenience if the customers live in remote or rural areas.

Vizio's ability to enable all viewers to own a plasma television is also plagued with a few inconveniences. The colors and contrasts must be manually adjusted. Most plasma televisions come with factory adjustments that give excellent color and contrast viewing. Vizio customers are responsible for attaining the view they desire. While Vizio provided a way to put a plasma television in people's homes, there are a few quirks that need to be resolved. After that, however, everyone will have access to quality images on their plasma televisions.
