The newest Ipod classic comes with the largest capacity ever in an Ipod device. The 120 GB built in memory can house up to 30,000 songs, 150 hours of videos or 25,000 photos. The two and one half inch video display screen is large enough to view video podcasts, movies, or photos which can be synched with Adobe Photoshop through the ITunes software. Starting price is 249 dollars.
The 2nd generation Ipod touch is Apple's version of the multi-functional cell phone. The touch gives the user the ability to play games and music and view photos, videos, and TV shows, and provides Internet access. The touch comes in 8, 16, and 32 GB models and starts at 229 dollars.
The fourth generation Ipod Nano is sleeker than ever. The case is a brushed aluminum and glass design with a window to view songs and song details. Like the Ipod Classic, the Nano uses a click wheel to navigate the menus and screens however its capacity is eight or 16 GB and houses music only. The Nano also comes with the built in capability to compile play lists from the users music library. The Nano is available in an array of nine brilliant colors and starts at 149 dollars.
The third generation Ipod shuffle is smaller than ever. The case is made of brushed aluminum, is 1.8 inches tall and 0.3 inches thin, and has a built in carrying clip. Its four GB capacity is able to house up to 1,000 songs and has the ability to create play lists as well. The shuffle comes standard with a set of Apple earphones and starts at 79 dollars.
