Pink's "Funhouse"

This new album has rocked the charts again and again. With the release of this album, it has become clear that the harder Pink is hit, the more we should expect her to come back swinging. The album entitled "Funhouse" is one of the most outstanding albums she has put out to date!

The word is that this album really hit home for Pink. She shares much of her personal hardships in the lyrics of these songs. This would include the break up with her husband Carey Hart. Each song on this album was from a deep experience or a realization in her life. Since she is sharing these things with her fans and the public, it is no surprise that this album is considered her most vulnerable piece yet. The album was released in October of 2008 by LaFace Records. Coming up on a year later, this album and the top singles that have come from it have not faltered for a moment.

Pink has often been considered an outstanding yet off beat musician. This album certainly set secured her place in the wide and wondrous world of music. When interviewed about this album, she shared that the song "Sober" was written at a party where she was not drinking, but the song is more about finding yourself content with who you are. Without the need for outside things or people to alter your thought process, just being you is a wonderful thing.
