MP3 Players

MP3 players are devices that can store and play audio files. Some MP3 players can also store pictures and video files. In recent years the MP3 player has replaced the CD player. What makes these so great is that they can store thousands of songs on one hand held device.

The most popular MP3 player is probably the Apple iPod. The iPod was first released in October of 2001 and has greatly evolved since its initial release. It has also been released in many different models. The first iPod was the classic and was available in 5 or 10 gigabytes. The sixth version of the classic model was released in 80, 120, and 160 gigabytes. They also released an iPod Mini and later the Nano that replaced the Mini. In 2007, Apple released the iPod Touch. This was the first MP3 player with a touch screen. They also released the iPhone that was similar to the Touch but was also a cell phone.

MP3 players can be found in many stores. They are very common at electronic stores like Best Buy and Radio Shack. Many of these stores offer great deals and specials that make MP3 players affordable for everyone. Other stores such as Walmart and Target also sell MP3 players. There are many accessories that make the players capable of being played in many other ways besides the traditional way of headphones. There are docking stations that are like a stereo. Many cars also come with these docking stations so the player can play over the car speakers.
