Renting newly released movies on DVD is a common family favorite each weekend. Usually, a movie will be released on DVD after it has stopped showing on the big screen for about six months. Not all will be on the old VHS and not all will be released on HD or Blu-Ray.
One of the latest movies out on DVD is a drama romance called "9 1/2 Weeks." It is a movie about a relationship between two self centered people. A Wall Street shark and an art gallery owner are in a relationship for 9 1/2 weeks, before the two of them figure out what the other really wants.
There are several great movies and shows being released this week. Depending on what your preferences are, here are the DVDs due out. These include "The Cleaner," "Crossing Over," "Fired Up," "Gran Torino," "The International," The Jack Lemmon Film Collection," "The Norman Lear Collection," "Reaper" (season two), "The Shield" (season seven, the final season), "Sisterhood," "Were The World Mine," Woodstock Ultimate Collector's Edition," "Z Rock" (season one), "Ghosts of Goldfield," "Destination Fame," Transglobal Underground," Sinful 70s Sex Collection," "Nobel Son," "Jesus Trip," "Ladies or Gentlemen," "Spinning Into Butter," "Nicotina," "Iron Maiden: Flight 666," "Harder They Fall" and "Strike."
The ratings aren't listed for all of these movies, so when you run out to get that movie for family movie night, be aware of what your picking up. Don't forget a bag or two of popcorn to go around.
