New DVD Releases

There was several new DVDs released in July. Some of them were top box office sales when they were in the theaters. One well-made and hilarious film was “Bart Got a Room.” In this movie, Steven Kaplan (Danny) played as a newcomer in school and on prom night he spent $600 for a hotel room. He had his tux rented and a limo but had no girl for his date. He tries to get advice from friends but nothing comes up. To make matters even worse, he finds out that the nerd of the school has a hotel room too. But then to top it all off he also has a date. This really makes for a situation teeming with peer pressure and teenage troubles. This is a movie that has to be seen all the way through to get the whole idea of it. It is rated PG 13 and is 80 minutes long.

If you like a great high-intensity action movie, “Fast and Furious” was released on DVD on July 28. It is brimming with heart stopping movement from the beginning to the end with races, revenge, and just plain awesomeness. There isn’t a dull moment in this movie. Parents be aware that there is some sexual content and drug scenes. Vin Diesel and Paul Walker are two great actors in this fun, action-filled movie.
