Using a widget stream, this wireless television is able to gain access to the Internet’s information. Amazon.com, Yahoo, MySpace, Netflix, and Flickr have consented to allow their sites' information to be put on television. The platform to make video streaming and Internet functions possible will be integrated into the Vizio television. Banner-like ads will be a new application made possible through this television. Its remote has a QWERTY keyboard which slides down for easy net navigation. There is a large button for eliminating the stream. Other television companies are planning to get in on the new technology with their televisions.
The new Vizio plasma TV with widget streams will start at $750 for the base 32 inch model. The high end model, which includes many striking additions and improvements, will be priced at nearly $2200. For this new technology, the pricing is very competitive and other television manufacturers are sure to follow their lead in incorporating this new technology into their products.
