"I Love You, Man" on DVD

In the first official movie dedicated to the blossoming of the “bromance”; “I Love You, Man” on DVD, is a spectacle of laughs, romance, and comic possibilities. Starring Paul Rudd and Jason Segel, the pair creates a wonderful and manly chemistry, that makes for some seriously laughable moments.

In the film, Rudd plays Peter Klaven, a calm, collected real estate agent, who is about to marry his beautiful girlfriend, Zooey, played by Rashida Jones. As the wedding plans progress, Klaven quickly realizes that he has no real man friends to invite into his wedding party. What ensues is a hilarious attempt to make friends; and find the perfect person to stand beside him on the big day.

Enter Segel’s character, Sydney Fife. You may possibly spend a lot of time wondering if, Sydney is a good guy or a bad guy in the film. It is undeniable that he is just what Klaven needs to break out of his ordinary shell, and prepare for the big wedding day. The sometimes touching, usually awkward relationship between Klaven and Fife is what makes “I Love You, Man” such an enjoyable film.

Written by John Hamburg from "Meet the Parents", and Larry Levin from "Seinfeld",the jokes are on the mark and well-delivered by all cast members. Whether you are looking for a good date movie, or a reason to celebrate your own bromances, the film “I Love You Man”, out on DVD is a laugh-out-loud, hilarious way to enjoy a couple of hours.
