His last and more recent film of "Tyler Perry's Madea Goes to Jail" has brought out lots of different opinions and ideals about the film. This film is rated as USA PG-13 years of age due to the violence, sexual situations, drug content and thematic material. This film is typically a follow-up of all of his other Madea films. These are basically comedy driven and are what made Tyler Perry famous worldwide.

The plot of this film is that Madea the grandma who is always mischievous goes to jail where she meets a variety of different people all from different genres of life. This film is the typical Madea, out to prove she is right. When she goes to jail she finds the race/class lessons that Madea battles the ex-alter ego that she doles out far more handily than in a single church going lady.

There are many different opinions about this film. Some people enjoyed the film, others say that the film was not one of Tyler Perry's better work. In this film, Madea declined an estimated 60 percent, but did place well in the box office numbers making an estimated 16.5 million during the first weekend release of the film.
