The Zune mp3 player is Microsoft's equivalent of Apple's iPod. Both are ground-breaking inventions, and while Apple's iPod is the world's most familiar mp3 player, the Microsoft Zune has taken a huge stride to leave its imprint on the market and establish its own identity.
The Zune has a lot of cool user-friendly features that really enhance the experience for the potential buyer. Some of the features include online music, video, and podcast downloads; all of these can be easily assessed via Zune marketplace. It comes in two product variations; one is hard-drive based and the other is based on a flash memory. You can also display images, either through downloads or from the flash memory, and this is a feature keenly enjoyed by those that enjoy the ability to host pictures and images without toting a camera. This also has a unique feature which allows you to share files wirelessly with other Zune players, as well as with Miscrosoft's Xbox and Windows PCs with the use of a USB cord.
The Zune software is compatible to Windows XP, Vista, and Windows 7 and at the Zune online Marketplace, the user can easily manage mp3 files, rip audio compact discs, buy songs and videos, manage musical arrangements, and also buy television shows as well. This can be done by using Microsoft Points or a Zune Pass, which allows unlimited temporary music downloads, of which you can keep ten each month.
The Zune, by Microsoft, is an mp3 player with a lot of personality!
