SanDisk Sansa

The SanDisk Sansa is a line of flash based digital audio players and portable media players made by SanDisk. SanDisk is the largest supplier of innovative flash memory data storage products founded in 1988 by Dr. Eli Harai. SanDisk develops, designs, manufactures, and markets flash storage products for a large variety of electronic systems and digital devices. SanDisk has over 860 U.S. patents and over 550 foreign patents. The company also is the only one that has worldwide rights to both manufacture and sell every major flash card format. SanDisk is headquartered Milpitas, California and has over 3000 employees worldwide.

The Sansa Fuze is a portable media player that has a 1.9 in display, a forty preset FM radio/recorder, a voice recorder, and can record from FM. The Sansa View is a video MP3 player with full-motion video and has a music library, video collection, digital photos, digital FM radio, and microphone and voice recorder. The Sansa Clip has an FM tuner/recorder and a built in microphone. It is also known as the m300.

There are some discontinued models of SanDisk Sansas. There is the Sansa Shaker which is a screen less digital audio player, the Sansa Express which only plays audio, the Sansa c200 which has an FM tuner/recorder and built in microphone, and the the Sansa e200 series which has a video player, FM tuner/recorder, voice recorder with a built in microphone, and picture viewer. These are just a few. There is a wide variety of SanDisk Sansas and more to come in the future.
