A Buyers's Guide to MP3 Players

Looking for the ideal MP3 player, will not be a simple project. There are many things to consider when you are looking, besides the color, size, capacity or price. The features available are mind boggling. Your first choice is between, a hard-drive or a flash-drive based player. The hard-drive is cheaper, has a larger capacity, and a bigger screen. The negatives are; they are bigger, heavier, use batteries, and don’t work well when doing physical activities. The flash-drive is smaller, has no moving parts, and the batteries last longer. They are also more expensive and harder to use.

You will not get every feature on any one player. You need to place a priority on those that are important to you. Features include, either a color or black and white screen. If you plan to put pictures or videos on your player, then color would be better. Radio reception is another feature, that may or may not be important. A new feature is connecting to others using wireless technology. You will also need to decide how much storage capacity is needed. Another thing to consider is the battery life. If all of these things are important, then it may be hard to find that perfect MP3 player. Be flexible with the features you choose to have.

Do research before you decide what is best for your needs. If you know someone that has had to make these decisions, listen to their pros and cons about the player they own.
