A Buyer's Guide to LCD TVs

It is first important to determine what size LCD screen you need by examining the floor room plan in which you have chosen to put the TV. Smaller LCD TVs were used in the past because it was easier to deal with the lighting contrast. Technical problems such as pixels and transistors had to be determined for better TV quality in larger size TVs.

Now that there are larger LCD TVs, the quality of the picture issue has been updated for LCD TVs 27” and larger. Transistors for the larger LCD have been placed in a more optimal location for better TV viewing. Japan and Korea have now started manufacturing LCD TV sets that are larger with better lighting. Thus, lowering the price tag for LCD TV sets 27” and larger.

When it comes to installation of your new LCD TV, you now have four options. Flat-wall mounts allow you to add a couple of inches to the monitor’s depth and it is a great space saver for places like the bedroom. Tilt-wall mounts give you six inches in depth monitoring, and keeps the TV out of the way, yet allows you to view it from anywhere in the room. Table stands are also another way of viewing you LCD and allowing you more of the conventional idea of watching TV. However, every LCD comes with its own particular viewing stand for better viewing compatibility.
And the fourth wall mount is the Articulating-wall mount that allows you to pull out an extended arm and view the LCD from 120 degrees on either side.
